No it's a great game for children

Yes, but the concept is great and will hopefully one day be used by some talented and truly inspired people to create something incredible.

yes

I did this in Sapphire but I couldn't beat Leafgreen with only Venusaur.

Fortunately, with the release of SWSH, not even the most hardened Gen 4 haters can claim that it's the worst of the franchise.

it won't happen until millenials die out

I still like playing sword and shield for the ranked PvP and teambuilding QoL. I have literally no reason to ever touch gen 4 again.

Probably but I still have fond memories of RSE since that's where I started as a kid. Probably shouldn't ever touch it again and ruin the memory.

>Not using a mold breaker pokemon

All of the games are like that if you PLAY THEM LIKe an NPC

The old games yes, the snowballing exp problem stopped being a thing after gen5 because it inversely scales exp with your level
Coincidentally this is when all the masses of mouth breathing retards got filtered and started hating pokemon

You could do the same thing with any of the starters in Red and Blue so yeah. Thats why they had to put forced experience share into the games, because the casual players all just trained one Pokemon.

G/S/C are the only good ones.

I really hope you’re not trying to suggest that anything after Gen 5 is hard. Please don’t make me pull out the X/Y gym leader sets again I don’t want to embarrass you that badly.

FEAR as a strategy really only works when anything goes. Most competitive formats auto-adjust levels to a baseline or just outright block level mismatches.

Yes
It's a bad jrpg

Nope, the first 2 games felt original and they pushed the gameboy hardware to its limit.
GBA ones brought a couple new mechanics but felt like it was stale, the rest are just generic lazy rehashes of the games before.

True shit was for kids from back then, man-children can cope with the fact that it was shit but they were kids so didn't care and zoomies fucking hate turn based shit

Very few games are as soulful, and that's what matters. Zoomers criticising the gameplay don't understand, as they grew up in a world devoid of soul.
Simple as.

Clearly lack of skill

Funnily enough, despite the lack of the natdex, Sword and Shield were still the best mainline games since gen 4.

I agree, that’s why I only play stuff from the late 90s/early 2000s. I’m a zoomer though.
