hard to say as SoV was in development before/along side heroes, and 3H might have been as well. Heroes certainly did make FE a more renown series, but we will know how big of am impact it had when the next mainline game comes out. It's a bit surprising they didn't try to shove out a FEH mainline game at FEH's height, I think the most FEH got for merch were some acrylic figures, and copy/paste art books.

I don't think it had much of an impact, unless you count 3H adding the FEH positional assists. It's a shame it basically replaced Cipher though.

I'd say so, if only for introducing newer post-Awakening players to the older games and characters. I may not like gacha games but I do think it's nice that zoomers got to learn and meme about characters like Reinhardt and Ishtar. Most of the stuff I dislike about modern FE games was already around before Heroes got big anyway.

It's a gacha, so it's already a negative, no matter how you try to spin it. That said, as much as people rag on about favouritism, that's just basic business, and even then it did shine some light on some of the older games, that many modern fans would probably have otherwise overlooked and not bothered with.

Most likely not. All the money they got from it made them stagnant and lazy. It's been over 5 years since an original Intelligent Systems fire emblem was made, and I blame this game for that.

We've already seen FEH skills be put into the mainline games like Desperation, Quick Riposte, and Close Counter. I wouldn't be surprised if the next FE had skills that give you bonuses for being within a few spaces of allies or enemies.
