just mentioning KDE just has amazing customization, the windows-like default is only skin deep
also the ""advanced"" linux users with tiling WMs that are made in like 1k lines of code.

There are DEs that aren't Windows-like, like GNOME, and people tend to sperg out about them precisely because they don't have a Windows-like interface. In any case, the advantages of Linux go well beyond the DE, but KDE happens to be a pretty good one with a ton of functionality and customization over Windows.

No, he has no idea what he's talking about. If anything NVIDIA's and AMD's drivers on Windows perform so many dirty tricks to extract performance that I wouldn't be surprised if input lag is lower on Linux.
