More dark shit hopefully. The existence of snowgrave is the only thing that reinvigorated my interest in deltarune. The basic story happening in normal playthroughs is bound to be cheesy and stupid, but all of the hidden stuff is bound to be kino.

Friendly reminder that Deltarune is all about taking the Hopepill. It is not a game about escapism or delusions. It's a game about how, at the darkest moments in our lives, when we think we have no choice and no hope, we can make a difference by reaching out to those around us.

>Your choices don't matter
Directly, they do not. However, Kris and by extension our choices DO matter because they affect those around us, who go on to affect the story in key ways. At the end of chapter 1, We/Kris doesn't save the day. Either Susie or Lancer, who were affected by our kindness and our friendship, step in and defeat the king. At the end of chapter 2, Noelle is the one who stops the Queen because we made her feel strong enough to stand up for herself. Even Berdly is positively affected by our actions and turns a losing battle against the Queen around. We make a difference in those around us.

>Snowgrave/Weird Route
Is a representation of us using our power and our influence to harm instead of help. By abusing our power to influence those around us instead of using it to help them grow, we irreparably harm our world.

>The Shadow Crystals
Are a representation of hopelessness and the destructive belief that the world is better without you. In the first chapter we see a world without us (see through our hands), in the second we see Susie without us, and instead of a friend she's still a miserable loner. By looking deeply into these delusions we see that the world isn't better without us. That our choices and our lives matter.

>The schizobosses
Are people who succumbed to their despair when faced with the darkness. They gave up hope. They isolated themselves from their friends (Seam, Addisons) and in doing so truly lost all ability to change their fate. All they had left was their darkness made manifest, the Shadow Crystals. By defeating them we are saving them. We will take their Shadow Crystals, their pure despair, and purify it.
