It was about 40 hours long, the pimping section got old fast and a new system is introduced later on that makes it even more of an obligation when you just want to get on with things. You have to go back to certain areas for weapon upgrade parts which are random and may not be there every time. It's nitpicky, but it lowered the quality of what was otherwise pretty decent h game by making a lot of it feel like a chore. That and the ending (and character endings) felt kind of lacking.

Dohna Dohna gave me high expectations, but neither the main gameplay or management aspect hooked me. Didn't expect it to be one of the games I downloaded a full save for. Didn't even get to meet the samurai girl before I dropped it.

is there a way I can cheat engine my way out of this pimping/grinding nonsense, I just want to finish the story and it's a drag every time.

It's good, but it's also somewhat frustrating when you genuinely want to playbthose game but your character has been hypnotised to randomly start mistreating instead kf attacking. It sounds hot but it's basically like being stunlocled over and over, you do eventually need to make progress and move on. There's no real way to balance making progress and getting sex scenes since the more sexy stuff happens the more passives get forced on you that makes it harder to resist sexy stuff.

Try a virgin run first, don't throw yourself at the first enemy for content. Get all the sex scenes afterwards

I'm hoping Alice In Cradle manages to pull off the canonically defiled/pained heroine thing that Ricca did without being overly edgy and mean spirited. Ricca did have a positive shift in tone in the second half, but what happened in chapter 7 just went too fucking far into torture porn territory.

You can play most unity games in 4K (that don't have resolution settings in the menus) by just creating a shortcut to the exe and setting your -screen-width and -screen-height in the Target box. It might work with games using other engines, but I've never tried it.
