Leviathans without underwater fights are just miserable in my opinion. Mizu has the benefit of being developed without underwater, but for the pre-Gen leviathans it will never be the same.

He's a good monster that many following monsters take design influence from. He's a foundational element of what Monster Hunter is. That's why everytime generic "Monster Hunter Hunter" is in any crossover he usually has Rathalos armor. Yes he seems boring and basic now but thats because almost every wyvern has taken elements from him.
