Who

probably got the vaxx

It's safe and effective stop spreading disinformation

A jew that killed sega

>t. sega of japan apologist

wasn't he instrumental in distruction of sega some ceo's are retarded

He literally sabotaged the saturn in america, that’s not even hyperbole. Also SoJ wasn’t the retards that decided to go ahead with the 32x either

>i'm a NEET with social anxiety that can't leave the house so i couldn't get the vax so i spend all day online saying it's bad to make myself feel better

Only seething Saturn fans will be upset by this, even though Kalinske also said it was a piece of shit that would never sell in America years prior
And here they are. SoJ wanted the 32X to be a whole new system and didn't care about anything SoA wanted even though they had 60% of the Western market

I'm not one to speak ill of the dead, but this guy was LITERALLY part of the Sega's downfall.

no refunds ;)

sad he died but he stopped streets of rage and any 2d games cos he wanted 3d polygon games

SoA were the retards that said it should be an add on, SoJ did a bad job with the genesis but the saturn was all SoA dropping the ball and trying to pretend it didn’t exist

Saturn was just a shit system with no memorable games

After all the expensive/mandatory accessories, the Saturn came out to over $400...in the early 90's. With inflation, that is scalper level pricing.

SoA also was the one who wanted EA support and a Dreamcast that was easier to develop for but SoJ didn't care. The 32X was in fact mutual stupidity. The Saturn would never have ever found success in the US, absolutely zero chance. It should never even have launched in the US, Sega should have just let SoA work on Genesis for a few more years and then launch Dreamcast in the US later.

No, he tried to save it but the japs got butthurt and ruined it out of spite

no, that was the sega saturd

Literally the best strategy rpg is on there and one of the best jrpgs as well so you’re already wrong

The best part was that the Saturn was literally the only time Sega found success in Japan, and its entire library was focused on arcade ports, ecchi, and inferior RPGs. The second stores stopped carrying the ecchi it started flopping in Japan too.

>the saturn is not our future
He says that while the dreamcast is yet to be released for an entire year. He probably prevented about 100k or so sales at least

Imagine thinking anyone was going to be buying a Dreamcast in 1998 in the US anyway. It was off most store shelves by late 97/98 unless it was a specialist store. To be fair that was half SoA's fault because of Saturnday, but Saturnday was also partially SoJ's idea.

didn't he stop any 2d non polygon games cos he didn't like it and wanted 3d games which sega saturn couldn't do.

*buying a Saturn

2D games were a niche market in the US by that time, they always got eviscerated in the gaming press for being "outdated." He was right when he had the mandate at Sony and right when he had it at Sega. Nintendo would definitely have had a similar rule more openly had it actually gotten significant third party support.

It could actually do 3d reasonably well if programmed well which was the hard part since it was a multi core machine which at the time was utterly bizarre and difficult to understand

You were never going to get a Crash Bandicot or Spyro on Saturn, you could barely get Duke Nukem 3D or Tomb Raider.

It could probably do them though it would be pushing the limits like burning rangers. May even need to be built from the ground up too

aside from a few gutted levels and missing levels in dn3d it actually looks and plays well, and had dynamic lighting
