I had the option of starting a new game of Ninja Gaiden Black on Very Hard and playing Rayman for PS1 and I chose Ninja Gaiden.
died a lot in 3rd level and dropped the game

That fucking water section near the end of Eating at Joe's where you have to do multiple pixel perfect jumps in a row was hell. Still a great game though.

she filtered me for so many runs when i was 10 years old. But after finally beating her i finished the game soon after

it's hard but it's not as hard as people make it out to be
once you beat it you can easily play through on a fresh save and beat it without continues, it's not as bad when you know whats coming
I finished it as a kid, not sure how the fuck I did it though. To be fair I did have to cheat little bit and get the password from somewhere to unlock the final level. There was just 1 cage I could never find.
