come over to bros, we need more artists

ffs m8 stop spamming this shit

the one you aren't inclined toward

you can copy code but you cant copy art

GAME DESIGN >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> both

>you cant copy art

Idk, but you could always try drawing on garyc.me/sketch/ for more of a challenge

Relatively speaking, yes.

Coding is boring as fuck while drawing is fun so for me, programming is extremely hard. I simply can't focus on it because it bores me.

Just ask the same thing every day.

These are just thinly disguised "post your art" threads

Anyone can learn to code, it’s just a matter of memorizing, not everyone can become a good artist though. Coding requires more brainpower and thought however, while drawing comes more naturally to a lot of people.

everyone can become a good artist, unless what you mean is not everyone can put in the work to become a good artist

id say music should be the 4th option as the hardest.

na
/ic/ is full of crabs and 90% of the people there dont actually draw
its just bitter autists. and i haven't even been bitten by one myself the few times ive posted, but i hate seeing blossoming artists there get shat on and discouraged
/ic/ is only good for the resources

you can copy the code used to calculate lightshafts bouncing off a surface and nobody will notice or care. if you copy mickey mouse into your game everyone will notice and disney will instantly sue you

It depends on person. If you have never had much interest in creative stuff then it can be hard to get a hang of drawing. I doodle casually and make music casually as well so that is easier to me.
It doesn't mean you don't need creativity when it comes to programming, afterall making a game and mechanics needs you to imagine and have a vision over what you want to make. You just need different kind of creativity and some crunching and problem-solving skills compared to drawing.
Both are good to have tho

the other ones are too thick and reek of porn artist
also is your game 2d animation? i dont usually see indie devs use projection and model sheets

Its still basic character design but i plan 2D for scope realism
