Ffxv was definitely a troubled game, but especially after royal edition it really does have a nice charm to it. I'd say for $20 you could probably really enjoy yourself even if you aren't crazy about the combat

i just don’t like the filter style when the character is moving. it’s like a drawing or a sketch style with lights and the cloak is transparent so it looks like the devs didn’t finish rendering the actions. lifeless world as well.
