fuck the tailing mission in the prison level. Most infuriating buggy shit imaginable not getting caught. silent takedown doesnt even guarantee the guards wont spot you

Only people who like 2 the most are nostalgia blinded. The concept of doing all these missions to set up a heist and finally pulling it off was probably quite novel for the time, but the gameplay boils down to very boring, mundane "pickpocket these 5 enemies", "tail this NPC without being spotted" and whatever other bland stuff they could come up with. I enjoyed 3, still wasn't great but I felt like the missions had more hits than misses whereas the 2 game was 90% misses.

1 and 4 are the best. 1 is a good straight up platformer, 4 uses the same heist schtick as 2 and 3 but most of the set-up missions and heists themselves are 80% based around platforming. The boss fights were great too.
