I played like an hour of it and didn't get the appeal, seems fine for what it is though and I don't regret getting it since it was so cheap.
I just get such barebones feeling with this and I don't see myself opening this over another roguelike right now.

To be honest, it's a pretty bare bones game. It's fun to see other people play in the same seed though. Maybe set a specific ending goal when you're playing it.

Don't try to sit down to 100% it. To me it isn't even in that discussion of choice. Other roguelikes I'll sit down and play for dozens of hours over a week trying to get to an ending but this is something I play for one or two runs every month or couple of weeks when I want something with a relatively low time commitment and it's amazing for that.
