Switch pro for general use, though really any of the big 3 will be fine.
If you need a good d-pad then an original saturn controller is best. Next in line is hori (pokken tournament and fight commander controllers are insanely good).
If you don't care at all about anything and barely play video games for longer than 5 mins then an 8bitdo will be fine.

i got the plain black one and the buttons/sticks feel absolutely nothing like the OG duke, so it looks great to look at but the second i start using it extensively it does not feel like an OG xbox controller at all
in terms of ergonomics its 99% there
