Isn't Yunalesca in FF X universally one of the most hated bosses? And that's actually a mainline boss battle.

Redpill me on this shit. This is FF XI or XIV? I never played those online games

You know that they're killing tifa in part 2 of the "remake" to subvert expectation

That would be great. Or better yet, kill off Cloud and continue playing the game as Aerith.

anyone actually give a shit about cloud bitch and dead fuck meat?

but who is the hardest boss bruh? Did Remake have any hard bosses?

this motherfucker

No, the whispers of fate were destroyed at the end of Part 1, so the Watchmen are no longer trapped in a time loop and they can choose there ultimate fate. AKA, Aerith doesn't need to die. IMHO there probably on a new timeline that there creating as we speak, through the power of sheer will and friendship the Watchmen are going to figure out a way for Aerith to summon Holy without trading her life in exchange for such protective powers. IMHO that would be the best possible scenario, and as the director himself stated, that doesn't mean Aerith technically didn't die in a past life, in the original game. She did die, but this time they get to do it right. That's the beauty of this timeline and IMHO it's a really good true ending.

FF X2 is underrated in the sense it had some fucking hard bosses. Angra Mainyu ...

you niggers cant swim?

I honestly find it more likely that they'll set up the expectation of subverting Aerith's death just to have her die anyway.

It's XI. Pandemonium Warden is worth googling just to learn the real life lore about even if you don't know anything about the game. It was so bullshit it literally put people in hospital and whenever someone found a method to beat it in less than TWENTY fucking hours SE would patch it out.

FFXI, it's the boss that was made to not be beaten. It took players manipulating the boss' AI through map manipulation. When GMs found out, they disabled the loot table so no one got anything, and was patched. Afterwards they had to add a warning before launching the game to not let the game interfere with your real life. Level cap breaks made it much easier. Devs admitted later that it wasn't meant to be beat and was just there to add mystery to the World.

They later added the boss to FFXIV for the (at the time) hardest content in the game (Eureka's Baldesion Arsenal). Where if you died, it was permanent for that run except for huge resource cases (Sacrificing another person or using a Healer LB3).

The boss battle that just keeps on giving.

>FFXI, it's the boss that was made to not be beaten.
>Devs admitted later that it wasn't meant to be beat and was just there to add mystery to the World.
That was purely a cope to pretend they didn't fuck up at their job having mechanics that went undeciphered by players into the next decade, because it's been verified that they always existed.

>Zombifies the party to heal them to death
>If you cure all their Zombie status' she casts Mega Death
Fuck that whore.
And its a 3 phase fight with unskippable cutscenes

Gotta play through this again. Such an atmospheric game.

who even plays these stupid fucking games it's just a """""story""""" built entirely out of fantasy keywords and nonsequitur plots with """"""""""gameplay"""""""""" that's just sometimes pressing circle while watching a shitty movie

This. It turned out the REAL solution was a strategy that could only reasonably be done if you were playing literally in the same building that the game was being hosted out of. FFXI devs are absolute retards.
