What killed the Hype?

Lack of anything outside of Meleefag mode

People cared more about the roster and how it would kill smash.

The game being shit and Multiversus

there was never any hype, just another proxy for rosterfagging by smashtards in withdrawal, just like all the [insert network] smash clones before it

Nothing

It just wasn't good enough. I don't like to admit it since it was still kinda fun and I like Ludosity's other games, but this one needed more devs + better devs + more time to develop

shit characters, shit timing, way better alternative coming

Didn't Slap City die for this?

Shitty release.

Slap City was already ded. A shame because it might be the best platform fighter, but it was too small and indie for anyone to stick with.

not really, most if not all the people that made slap city good did not work on nasb in any capacity

Lmao that face

Western cartoons seldom work on 3D unless they were designed for it from scratch, this shit is uncanny.

ADHD smashfags moved on

"No Jenny, no buy."

It sucks

>since you ruined our nostalgic cartoon it only seems fair we get to ruin this!

This. You can't take back first impressions

Extremely low budget. The models, sounds, and animations were bad or non existent. No game modes outside of just basic fighting. The actual gameplay was alright, but not enough to save it.

Literally all it needed was voiced characters and it would would see some success just for the memes and nostalgia. It wouldn't even need the original voice actors, just people who sound somewhat like the originals but no, Nickelodeon just had to horde every shekel they could.

How would you even make that shape look normal in 3D?
