3D All Stars would have sold a good 15 million had Nintendo not been such absolute fucking retards. It's consistently one of the best selling Switch games on amazon mexico almost 2 years later, always above 3D World and Odyssey.
Mario Maker is admittedly a tougher sell but it should have sold more than it did. I blame the Switch audience being retarded for that one, honestly.

It's fucking baffling to me how terrible Mario has been in the Switch era
>All the sports games have been watered down to shit and are obsessed with being released in an undeniably unfinished state so they can artificially lengthen the game's lifespan (which never even works, mind you)
>Mario Maker 2 is overall a step backwards from Mario Maker 1, because the Switch just lacks the same functionality as the Wii U gamepad and it replaces a lot of the things that made MM1 unique (costumes, Weird Mario, 100 Mario challenges) with a complete dogshit multiplayer mode
>Super Mario Party is incredibly barebones and even Mario Party Superstars is a bit lacking despite not having any originality whatsoever (granted, that's probably a good thing because nuParty is dogshit)
>Origami King is the 4th Paper Mario game in a row now that has had dogshit gameplay because like SPM and Color Splash, they focus entirely on the story and writing and the game itself suffers as a result
>Low effort ports out the ass, All-Stars, U Deluxe, and Bowser's Fury are all very overpriced for the amount of new content they bring to the table
>Super Mario 99, a fun little spin on the original, was made limited-time only for zero fucking reason along with 3D All-Stars for that matter
>The new Mario Kart 8 DLC (which is a 2014 port by the way) is literally just slightly touched up racetracks from the mobile game that completely contrast with the rest of the game's art
Odyssey is great, I always recommend 3D World to anyone who hasn't played it yet, and I've heard surprisingly good things about the Rabbids XCOM games but so much of the Mario output now is just dogshit. It sucks because it's without a doubt my favorite video game franchise ever even if that sounds like a normalfag thing to say.
