From what I've been told.

Normal Shells deal about 30% more Damage.

Wide and Long Shells deal about 20% more Damage.

And data points to Gunlances with Level 7 and 8 Shelling Levels.

I'm worried that these are just numbers for the demo just to wow everyone because of what happened with the hunting horn in the base game demo. I wish the game was out already so I wouldn't be so paranoid.

I used Normal in Iceborne and I simply can't go back to it. I developed BAD habits from spamming Full Burst way too much.

Unfortunately, now I'm addicted to Long Shelling. That extra range and power is simply too good.

Unironically don't care, Courage Hammer is shaping up to be an incredibly fun iteration of the weapon
