are you a time traveler

that was so pathetic lmao

>better visuals
>more weapons
>more special infected
>more gore
fuck this game

Left 4 Dead 3 was in development and died on it's own because Valve wouldn't finish Source 2, had nothing to do with the boycott.

cope, valve cant count to 3

gamers went from
>NOOO YOU CAN'T RELEASE A SEQUEL SO FAST
to
>WHERES MY SEQUEL ITS BEEN YEARS
maybe if you didn't complain you'd have L4D3 by now

Maybe if Valve made employees actully commit to a project instead ofletting them scent-mark whatever they pleased, you mean.

>Left 4 Dead 2 took less than a year to develop after Left 4 Dead
>infinitely better than Back 4 Blood

How did Valve do it and where did the fucking magic go?

I enjoy L4D2. What was the uproar about again?

>release a game one year to the day as an obvious cash grab
>your fanbase calls you on your shit
>mald
Good. I genuinely hope it took years off his life.

there you go complaining again, let me know how that works out for you =)

the problem wasn't the sequel, it was that they promised more content and support for l4d1 and then dropped it because gaben needed more liposuction money

No, Killing Floor 2's shitty microtransactions killed the best zombie franchise of all time, faggot.

I've still never played KF2. Damn shame, the first one was so enjoyable

kf1 was better than 2, you didn't miss all that much

Why was it boycotted? I only played this with a couple of friends in 2020-21

>best zombie FRANCHISE
>admits to said franchise only having one good game
>whereas l4d has two
Huh?

I remember thinking it was weird at the time they came out with L4D2 so fast. Now in retrospect and given Valve's track record, it's even weirder. I would love to know why they decided to push forward so quickly on a sequel instead of taking it slow and adding on to L4D.

I thought L4D2 was good. Characters weren't nearly as memorable but the gameplay and maps in 2 felt like a big step up.

Left 4 Dead 3 died due to Valve open-office culture. Nobody has the resolve to finish things on their own if there isn't a manager breathing down on their necks and forcing them to stick to deadlines. The other end of that extreme is crunch culture.

Valve fell off so hard it's not even funny.
