God damn. Even after experiencing the step up from Normal to Hard I was still shocked how much of a difference in difficulty there was between Very Hard and Master Ninja. That was just way beyond my level when I played. I imagine it mostly boils down to charge after landing ultimate techniques and izuna drops? I played with shuriken cancels before but that just seemed extra and not really required to perform well.

Play Drakengard. The air sections are legitimately tense and exciting. Especially against other dragon riders. And play Sin & Punishment for more rail shooters.

DBZ had a lot of GBA games and those are the worst two. Taiketsu is from the same studio as the Legacy of Goku series somehow, it's legitimately the worst fighting game I've ever played because nothing works properly, it's ugly as fuck, there's no real music, and it doesn't even feel like it was made by people who saw the show. 18's super is shooting missiles out of her ass, no kidding. DBZ CCG GBA is just a bad simulator of a trash cashgrab card game with compressed-as-fuck visuals and a terrible tutorial. I owned it for most of my childhood and never got more than 30 minutes out of it.
Thankfully I got Advanced Adventure a year or so after I played those two and that's still the best Dragonball game ever made.

It's definitely a huge change in playstyles, only very few mistakes before death. I rarely took health because of that and used all my pick ups for instant kill which helped in the early chapters. Mid way through though the izuna drop loses usefulness since at least one enemy in a group would end up grabbing you for an instant kill unless you're at high health or they attack too quickly for you to launch an enemy, so I mainly used dabilharo and windmill for maximum damage. Sometimes switching to DS if I could get them with a combo -> kick -> flying swallow to kill or if I wanted to fuck around with the laser beam sword. If you wanted to try and cheese it unlabored flawlessness is broken on MN, you die quick anyway so just stick with low health and rip through enemies. Also abuse the fuck out of items, I tried to do a item less run and it was cancerous
