PC games that give that small town vibe

Please rec games that make you feel as if you were living in a small town. I would prefer adventure games or games that have some elements of adventure games, but it could be any genre.

From the top of my head, I can recall Pathologic. That's what I am talking about when small town comes to mind, but I am sure that there are many more

Yakuza 3
Yakuza 6

Disco Elysium

Skyrim, lol
did you get it?

Deadly premonition

The good life is kind of janky with low production budget, but the atmosphere worked for me

Pathologic HD, if your IQ is 130+

You're joking but I do get that vibe in Elder Scrolls games, especially Oblivion

I finished 0 and Kiwami. Are these two that different?

This seems to be nice, but all reviews are about how the message is socialist or something like that

Nice one. I have heard about this. Maybe I will check but the controls look awful

This looks pretty nice. I will def check it out. I am not concerned about graphics btw

All Pathologic 2 happens in a very nice and well made town that makes you feel like it's alive.

Anything made by Bethesda Softworks.
Because they sure as fuck can't manage to build anything actually resembling the scope; and scale of a real city and the hustle and bustle therein.

chu-lip, emulate it via pcsx2

yeah and it's the reason they get shit on. Y3 takes place in a small island town in Okinawa, very aesthetic and comfy. Y6 is in small town Onomichi in Hiroshima. I think Y6 is definitely the best small town aesthetic of the series. In 3 you're doing a lot of stuff with the orphanage kids. I would recommend them highly. 3 hasn't aged all that well but I love the jank. The combat is the only game in the series that tries to be difficult and force you to use your skills since enemies do a lot of blocking.

Kingdom come deliverance

Man, had never heard about this one despite playing a lot of ps2. Seems to be a nice game.

I was thinking about playing all Yakuza games, but after I finished Kiwami, I felt that it was exactly like 0, so I didn't bother to get the 2nd Kiwami. I think Yakuza gets too repetitive very fast.

Looks nice and it it is cheap on steam right now. I will prob get this one

dark cloud 2

Phantasmagoria

Also going to say Pathologic. I liked both games but 1 is extremely dated and clunky. It goes into a lot of detail about the customs of the town and feels very real in a fantastical sort of way.

Way of the Samurai
Kentucky Road Zero
Shadow Hearts
Bully

you are too deep into escapism, actively seeking out ways to burn more time and sensation, if something as far as video games or whatever goes isn't directly available to you or falls on your path or is something you remember from childhood, it isn't worth it

state of decay 1 because i didn't play 2

stupid take
