Make the PVP moveset the same as PVE. Those revamped PVP movesets have far more soul and identity than PVE shit.

Simplicity was always better than the shitty lvl 90 rotations you gotta deal with. It's hilarious how PvP gets redone like this and suddenly XIV players look like they just discovered fire.
The bloat is honestly one of the worst things about this fucking game.
They won't ever do it, but if we had fewer abilities I'd like that. It would give them the option to have alternative builds in individual jobs, too. Right now every fucking job is the same shit as it's role. It's not something you can make unique builds for. That gets boring.
Having said that I probably just made at least 10 troons seethe and moan with this post.

The whole 2 minute cooldown meta is obnoxious as fuck. I don't enjoy it. The game would be better if we had better rotations and jobs with actual unique abilities, not just being stuck to their role.

Yeah, I agree. This is my problem with the game, and this feeling only gets worse the more you play. The PvP changes are actually a ray of hope, but with two expansions consecutively homogenizing classes it is hard to be hopeful.

Alright, anons. Since we all but know the next Ultimate will be Omega Ultimate, let me ask the most important question.
What is the WORST and BEST possible weapon sets they could use as the base model for it? Remember, it'll either Omega, or something else from Stormblood, so think carefully.

I don't think the jobs need builds because the game adds new jobs instead, there's almost 20 already. I basically treat jobs as "builds" of their role. There's no way they can add 2 jobs every expansion and still cover new playstyles if every individual job also has different specializations.
I do want the jobs inside their role to not all be the same shit though and this is not the case, healers for example are way too sameish.
