Is this a joke?

What? I mean combat mechanics feel tight and responsive

I really wanted to try this game but I don't want to support anti-christian devs

> Metroidvania.
I hate Americans and their ignorance so much it's unreal.

Okay, get ESA then

pray tell what you call them instead

Exploratoriums

Metroid-likes

quite like the sound of this one actually

search-action games

Non-linear progressive twodimensional jump based movement vidcon

>good mechanical gameplay
>blasphemous
I don't think the game had a single mobility power-up. They're all either just switching on deactivated platforms or letting you move normal through muck.

"The games I play when I'm high on opioids".

Castloids

Blasphemous sucks ass.
As a hollow knight fan, it doesn't even come close to thinking about ever coming close.
They try to hide the terrible combat with their pretty pixel art but they can't fool me.

>pixelshit
>90mb
uh no thanks sweatie but good try

combat is pretty good and responsive you shoulve turned off vsync it introduces input lag
filtered

blasphemous has actual art and insane art direction and presentation, cuck knight looks like tumblr shit

lol good one

>y-you can't POSSIBLY dislike a game I like!!! you MUST'VE been filtered or something!!!
I agree. But in this genre of games, gameplay is king.

Definitely the Guacamelee games. Do yourself a favour and put in the cheat code to play on hard from the start. It has tight platforming and fun, dynamic combat. The only thing is that it's more of an actual video game than it is a "getting lost in a maze where every room looks the same" simulator like Hollow Knight. So if that bothers you then you probably won't like it as much. They're definitely underrated games either way.

I started guacamelee 1 and I got thr part where you're climbing the tower and got filtered because I was lost.

If this game had dash button it wouldn't suck but the movement is too slow

How the fuck do you get lost in Guacamelee?

kys then hollow nigger

That's the thing I don't know. The objective said "climb the tower" so I did and I got to a spot where you need to go out this door and run along a platform while switching the dimensions and I couldn't find out how to go higher since I didn't have double jump and the air uppercut didn't help either

it has a dash button

Yeah but it has a CD and it's not fun to use. I mean a more intuitive one where I can air dash and move around like a monkey.
