It started as a pure DotA port but drifted apart when Icefrog went to make Dota 2
Most important part was the butter smooth engine, everything just felt so fluid compared to Dota 2 with horrible turn rates and input lag

How can a multiplayer game shut down? Just host your own matches/servers.

Game went to absolute shit when it got sold to the SEA roaches and went "F2P"
Oh man, that's so crazy how everytime there was a newly released hero it turned out to be completely overpowered and broken.
Untill it went out of the "premium FOMO try-out phase" where everyone who paid the initial $20 could get to try it out with a blanket 20-30% nerf.

Is it run in China? Tera is due to close soon and the people running it in china literally leaked everything numerous times in the last few months. If this is run there, it will be the same no doubt.

Just played my last few games to send it off with my mates. Managed to get some full 5-man queues. For some reason normal mode was fucked and we couldn't queue it, so it was all mid wars. Which is all I've played for years, I think it's a lot more fun, but made for a sorry sendoff.
