because its a mod you autist and players mostly don't read it /don't care, or the few that read it happen to understand its a very passionate modder who made this content for free and is trying to express the atmosphere they wanted to create the best they can.

Calamity is fun, i didnt even know it has lore. I just played the game with a friend and we had lots of fun.

Fun mod that gets absolutely fucking retarded in an enjoyable way after the Moon Lord and has some really good music. That it has some retarded ass lore that the creator takes super seriously just makes it funnier to me.

I see it as an extension to terraria which is already a brilliant game.

I didnt care much for the lore but I see terraria as a boss rush game and calamity basically extends the play time of said boss rush three fold, its enjoyable with freinds.

as a boss rush its also not that good
you can win 95% of bosses by just circle strafing them
if you really want a good boss mod you can get fargo's souls mod, it makes calameme look like a cheat mode

I've easily put in 200+ hours into calamity modded worlds with my friends. I honestly didn't know there was even lore, just assumed it was a random collection of neat shit the mod team threw together. Who the fuck plays terraria for lore????
