>get one of those mousepads with the support cushion
>just makes my wrist actually hurt instead of feeling a tad bit soar when used extensively
????
use a cushion
adjust your seat to the correct height
wa la
puts pressure on the nerves in the wrist
I just use wrist support wraps anymore. huge different for long term mousing and fight stick use.
Your wrist hurts because your muscles are weak and your bones and joints have improper posture as a result, a cushion/support takes out even more of your muscles out of the equation which increases the pain. The solution to joint pain universally is getting stronger and getting into the habit of proper stretching, not superficial pressure relief.
>grandpa gamers thread
0 pain on my wrists thanks to pull ups and forearm exercises.
also toggle playing games with MKB and controller.
OH N-
My wrists don't heart but the ends of my fingers do
The fuck is that, cancer?
Didn’t hurt my wrist, but I pulled the tendon in my forearm working out and this shit SUCKS.
I learned how to take short breaks and fix my position every 30 minutes or so; never had these problems again.
I use one of these now whenever using a mouse or gamepad
>have weird wrist pain
>get it checked out
>"it's probably early CPS"
>run EMG
>my nerves are fine
>years later it's still there with forearm pain too now
what's going on bros I just wanna game and my arms fucking hurt
>tfw I have the same thing
Can't even be bothered to go back to the doctor since he was useless the first time
Ended up using an elbow support whenever things got bad
I play Minecraft 1.8.9 PvP.
I'm going to have arthritis by 40, aren't I?

I will take your advice to heart. I don't know how you're supposed to get stronger wrists but hopefully forearm weight lifting will help some.
are vertical mice a meme? do they really prevent pain?
>start to get this
>lift
>it disappears forever
Just lift lmao.
I actually can't game anymore because of this, I just watch LPs and twitch VODs and pretend I'm playing.
>Hear my entire life about how I'm gonna get carpal tunnel/my wrist is going to explode from playing videogames
>I'm totally going to be in misery forever
>The only time I've ever had wrist pain was when I flew off a scooter after going too damn fast down a hill and broke my elbow and my wrist
>It was only ever so bad that I couldn't play videogames for like the first week after I broke myself
Where do they find all these people that get wrist injuries like this?
It almost feels like a conspiracy from the TV people because videogames are better than TV (At least back then)
remember, if your thumb, pointer, or ring fingers hurt, it's your wrist
if your ring or pinky fingers hurt it's your elbow
If your wrist hurts now that means you first need recovery, they're slow to heal so a month or two minimum before you get into lifting. Different ailments manifest with pain and numbness at different points in your arm and hand, you first need to identify where exactly do you feel pain and then do exercises that target that part specifically or you won't see progress.
