I wouldn't want it to be the exact same game. I have no problem with fleshing out Midgar, seeing Jessie's parents, ect. The problem is the time ghosts and the retarded Advent Children time travel plot. You can be faithful to the original and not have it be the exact same game. Hell, I'd even be fine if they said that it was a "what if Zack survived" scenerio. Just don't have time traveling Sephiroth gaslighting Cloud into not following the original game's timeline.
