I just don't get it. How did it became so acceptable the "pay 2 be better than everyone else and yeah it's not pay2win because they can have what you have in like 3 years of playing". We started with p2w a fuckton years ago and everyone agreed that it was fucking bs and that's why devs started doing "pay for cosmetics" wich is still bs if you already bought a game but let's give it a tiny pass just because p2w is much worse.
So why the fuck just not let it stay at pay for cosmetics? TF2 got a giant sucess with it. Riot profit like fucking madfags. Why the fuck we went full circle? I just don't get it.

I haven't spent a dime on Warframe and I'm just as well equipped as everyone else. It's not a good example of pay to win.

It certainly helps that the premium currency is tradable and you can trade your spare drops to other players for it, then buy whatever you want. I guess it still counts if someone at some point still has to give DE money.

it's relatively easy to get plenty of the premium currency as a free player, but it still requires a bunch of mindnumbing grinding then sitting in trade chat for hours waiting for someone to bite your WTS.

Meanwhile a paypig can just get all the premium currency you just spent hours grinding AND extra cosmetics that free players can never get in about 30 seconds.

Because people whale on that game and gain advantages
