Sure, the communist country might have insane and authoritarian rules, but I am a good empathetic person and I can help people if I want to. Communism means an equal living for all and a community that helps the few individual that struggles now and then.
Marx modeled it on old farm settlements in ancient Europe that had like 50-100 people, (think modern Amish communities).
The model does not scale up at all but the idea behind it is kinda nice.
