Is it worth? I never played the original FF7 to compare either

nah smoking cigarettes is more rewarding than this

Yes you'll like it, it's infinitely better than the usual dreck we get today

It's the most disappointing game I've played on PS4
So, nope

>70 shekels base price for an incomplete, utterly bastardized remake that has been out for like two years now
lol
lmao

yes buy it

It's 3 hours of story stretched over 40 hours it feels like over 90 filler. Every moment of the game feels like it's going out of its way to waste your time. Combat doesn't feel good being neither turn based nor actual action. If you make it to the end, you'll probably be utterly baffled by the story and it's not because you haven't played the other games but because Nomura is a hack

Considering the game expects you to know the PS1 one game, no. Buy the PS1 game first and just buy Part 1 before Part 2 releases in 18 months.

It's a sequel to the original FF7 so I don't know how much you'll get out of it if you haven't played the original.

FF7R is actually a sequel that hinges on you knowing the original. Yes that's retarded but it's true.

>Every moment of the game feels like it's going out of its way to waste your time.
Can't you say that about RPGs, or videogames in general?

meh, gameplay is kinda flat and story have lot of padding. I'm not far in but I'm disappointed.

you actually NEED to play the og to "get" what is going on in the remake

My general rule is that if you are genuenly interested in a videogame, buy it. Could be good, could be bad, but at least you have a genuine desire to try it and theres nothing wrong with trying it.
Ive bought games i didnt end up liking, but i dont regret it. At least i can talk about it properly and satisfied that desire of trying it.

I forgot also, what i meant is that
If you are genuenly interested, do it
If you are not and you just want to see whats the big deal without interest or that you feel left out, then dont.

Sure but with 7R it feels even more so.

When cloud squeezes between a crevice slowly moving forward or slowly walks to talk over a com link its intentionally wasting the players time

ho janny

As opposed to the repetitive mass grinding the original has? You just have ADHD

Not him, but ff7 doesnt have grinding at all

If you want to make a point, then consider battle transitions and random battles and casting animations which take a lot, a LOT of gametime from the og.

It's an okay game with terrible story and dialogues, with the same ammount of money, you can buy next week at least 5 to 6 better jRPGs which does everything better than FF7:Remake but with less graphical quality.

It's not a remake, if you didn't play the original 7 don't bother you're not gonna get the story.

>should I download an emulator and play one of the most influential games of all time for free
>or pay $50 for a bastardized version of it with 1/3 of the full story, a sizeable portion of which is just fanfiction
I hate how many of you faggots constantly complain about the modern game industry while also ignoring all the classics I KNOW you haven't played yet.

I spent $60 on weed instead

I made the right choice and I couldn't have been happier
