Applefag here (use a mac, iphone etc)
Apple Arcade is pretty pointless, it's mostly just glorified mobile gaming.
That being said, during my free trial i enjoyed playing;
>Mini Motorways
>Last Campfire
>Marble It Up
>Reigns: Beyond
But it is not worth an actual paid subscription.
Is Mario on there
Nah, but Sonic, Pac-man, Cooking Mama, Jean-Luc Picard and Spongebob are.
How dead inside does a developer have to be in order to make their game exclusive to apple arcade?
Just out of curiosity are you a PlayStation fag too?
From a development side, it's nice to only have to worry about a single architecture since the software is mostly the same across mac, iphone, ipad, apple tv etc.
But doing so you'd end up relying on Apple which is an extremely risky thing to do.
Nah, Xbox.
I can understand wanting an easier guaranteed paycheck, but it basically confirms that next to no one will play their game.
Fucking World’s End Club cost like $40 on switch while Arcade had that shit in their catalog.
anyone has a list of apple arcade exclusives?can i pirate them in a macos virtual machine?
The only worthwhile games on Apple Arcade are already available on other platforms.
Pretty much all of the 'exclusives' are honestly not that good and not worth playing, or just glorified mobile shit. (might be a handful of exceptions).
I doubt you could pirate the games, since I don't think anyone cares enough to put the work in.
Fantasian is exclusive
i'm just asking for the sake of preservation honestly
i like hoarding
also, i know there's a rayman game at the very least
quality is secondary, i just want to know what i can NOT play
Diablo Immortal is all you need
I really fucking hate Apple because preserving the binaries made for their platforms is a fucking bitch.
It's very unlikely you'd be able to successfully pirate an Apple Arcade title sadly.
Apple are notorious for using scummy practices, and I don't think anyone has actually worked a way to crack games installed on a Mac.
Your best course of action is to hope that the developer eventually ports the game to another platform (which has happened in the past, IIRC).
there's plenty of pirated mac games actually, though i don't know about apple arcade stuff specifically
