At least they are actually using aliens. Usually when they mean diverse it just means other humans but if they incorporate different playstyles that correspond with the different species that all have synergy it could be cool. I doubt they will do this and instead just pander to the nu religion but could be cool.

I played hell lot of turn-based tactical games, including all of the XCom ones, and Chroma Squad is the only one not pretending to be something more than simplistic watered down mess. Instead embraces it, at the same addressing some of the crappy pain points of XCom2. This in turn makes it better game.

Literally a streamlined fun experience with very little replay value, it was never being sold as a full game so i dont get peoples screeching. Should have been 1/3 cheaper than it was but still good for what you paid for.
