a 5 remake with a voiced deputy

Haven't played it but I don't really feel drawn to. There isn't anything necessarily wrong about it to me, but it looks to be too much of the same game I've played multiple times. I'm not just talking about Farcry alone either.
I liked Far Cry 5 because of the setting and even the story to an extent but that even felt like it was pushing it for me. I don't really know what could make Farcry engaging to me again besides a couple years away from the series and maybe bringing back the attention to detail that Farcry 2 had.

Loved far cry, even 4 5 but new dawn with and 6 sucked harder with RPG shit and gus made to much sense than the le heckin resistance

I liked 5 and 3 but this was a step backwards in almost every way

Firefights are too short and have not enough enemies. The game is also suffering from typical open world padding:

>10 minute drive to the objective

All characters are obnoxious and Yara does not feel like a country during a revolution. Libertard is not convincing as a revolutionary group capable of toppling a goverment.

I never felt like I was part of a bigger organization or a revolution while playing. Libertard and the Revolution only exist in cutscenes and scripted sequences like the introduction.

Great game. 3 and 4 had potential but having black and asian enemies was too problematic, and the guns were all too strong to make levelling up meaningful. 5 at least let you kill chuds which was a step in the right direction. I'm glad they took what they learned from New Dawn and put in proper RPG mechanics so you can feel getting better and relatable characters so you feel like your really fighting for something important, like in Borderlands. Getting Gustavo to play the evil trump character was genius.
The next game should be about being a volunteer in Ukraine liberating Kyiv.

More seriously, you could make a GOTY by reverting most mechanics back to 5 and ripping off the highfleet campaign. Play as an African warlord, have cheap local local troops and expensive mercenaries and vehicles.
