Scientists have NEVER said they had a sucking force, though. They just have normal gravity like literally all other matter in the universe. The only time a black hole gets fucky is if you get very close to its event horizon, which is much closer than you'd ever be able to get to a regular star of the same mass.
Black holes being vacuum cleaners is pop-sci trash made up entirely by hack writers who don't understand the source material, and perpetuated by normalfags who repeat everything they see in movies as truths.
