SE has been self-sabotaging so hard recently I'm becoming convinced there's some The Producers bullshit going on behind the scenes.

The original is so good and the sequel is pretty decent too. It’s a shame it never caught on but to tell the truth I don’t think it would have got much attention even if it got a lot of marketing, it’s too ambitious with style and gameplay for the general public.

Billions of dollars in 12 hours and their loyal fans buying a dozen copies and hijacking broadcast stations to shill their games apparently. Only Todd has that kind of power, unfortunately for them.

Fair enough but I feel like the niche audience could’ve gotten the chance for it to be potentially bigger. The TWEWY duology is chock full of intricate mechanics and lore and it feels like only a few really dives into those.

Neo TWEWY was easily my GOTY for 2021. It took everything I loved about the original and improved upon all of it. The only real complaint I have is that I wish there was a little more enemy variety, but the combat mechanics are so great and the characters are so endearing and memorable that it's a very minor gripe.
