Why arent you playing the greatest multiplayer game on steam right now?

We're getting assblasted from every direction with spyware anyways, I couldn't care less at this point.

Based just got it yesterday.
Any tips to get through an opponents block? I’m using the longsword, there’s so many attacks I don’t know which is good or not. The up scroll wheel seems to be like a joust?

EGS never actually advertises the games they pay for to get exclusivity, since they just want to keep them off steam for a year which makes no difference since it's basically just delaying the release for a year instead

I've only been playing Chiv2 for about a day as well, but it seems to me the only good way to get past the blocks are to perfect riposte/counter which hits fast enough to get in, or do what 80% of the players do (just like Chiv1), equip the biggest or most OP two-hander you can find because most of the big ones weight through the stam/blocks in a hit or two. Apparently in this game it's the Messer from what I've seen.

Of course, I know kicking also works, but it seems less reliable than Chiv1, where it occasionally does fuck all interruption and gets you killed, it's quite janky. Same for side-stepping and hitting around the side. I wouldn't worry about perfection that much though, just like the other game it's a mosh pit simulator, half of the fights are going to be you vs. half a dozen two-hand/pollaxe spammers using stabs and overheads where you have absolutely no chance, and the other half of the time it's gonna be some third party clocking you in the head with a heavy maul or whatever as you're trying to 1v1. It is what it is.

It is very casual and beginner friendly with no bullshit exploits unless you are doing arenas. It is literally the only good medival slasher out there with a healthy playerbase and the devs actually update the game unline mordhau. Also theres no builds in your soldier like in mordhau. Just pure simplicity
