June 2022... I am forgotten
Im still playing it.
What game?
The news cycle for any game that isn't perpetually online is like 5-10 days. DMCV was hyped for like 10 years and forgotten in like 6 days
cope reddit fag
Because dmc5 was only average at best. For an action game, it has shit tier level and art design.
We finished the game.
i just beat morgott and suddenly all the enemies in the game are damage sponges
the PVP sucks and everyone is complaining that a mod killed the PC community. game was pretty good tho
Really? I didn't get to that problem until around Leyndell
Is it better to start a new game for a new build? Or more fun to respec before starting a new game + and being able to use a bunch of the other weapons and armor you already found?
>NOOOO! SINGLE PLAYER GAMES MUST LAST FOREVER! IF YOU DON'T PLAY FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR IT MEANS THE GAME FLOPPED!
what did she mean by this?
>Shithole.jpg
Kek
Sure. What singleplayer game in recent memory has enjoyed more than 3 months of continuous discussion?
Shit multiplayer. No replayability.
i want to start a third run. This time I want to go for a super op build. Any recommendations? Im completely starting over btw, i dont do ng+
You're delusional if you think Soulsborne games are intended to be one-and-done single player experiences. ER just flopped massively in fostering any sort of active PvP/Co-Op community, which is in large parts due to the open world nature and overall completely asinine balance.
>its singleplayer when they bork the netcode so bad that people drop it faster than ds2
Love this cope.
Depends on the experience you're going for. I find it comfy to start a new game and have to scrounge for equipment, but you may have your eye on a weapon/build that you want to play right now instead of waiting for it. NG+ is good for the latter, especially if you buy up lots of upgrade material.
Elden Ring.
Doesn't every game get forgotten these days? The only games that get remembered are all from the 90s and 00s
BOTW
>finished
Cool. But you didnt beat it.
Precisely, now name another
You fight Morgott in Leyndell.
But yeah, beating him was around the point I hit the wall, too.
The Witcher 3.
I got every achievement and beat every boss
How many copies did it sell tortanictranny? That's the only metric anyone who actually matters gives a shit about.
5 years ago and threads tapered down faster
lmao
That was 8 years ago. Thanks for proving my point
yes, Any Forums's measuring stick for a game not being dead is having half the catalog be threads about the game that makes the board borderline unusable. if it isn't presently in that state, the game is a flop.
>BotW
>SSBU
>DOOM Eternal maybe
>Monster Hunter World maybe
SEVEN years ago actually (2015) and it is still discussed to this day, negroid.
It's difficult to even comprehend how retarded people on Any Forums are now
>What went wrong?
Most things, but above all Tanimura.
You still remember it
>>DOOM Eternal maybe
No
>>Monster Hunter World maybe
No
>>Smash
Literally forgotten, zero threads, and the game itself didn't warrant discussion, but roaster shit around the game. It was all "OMG SCRIMBLO BIMBLO THE LOVABLE SCRUNCHO FROM 1997'S SCRUNCHO ADVENTURE FOR THE JAGUAR DIDN'T GET IN OVER ANIME SWORDMAN?!? WTF!" It wasn't discussion about the game.
The recent examples are BotW and BB. That's it. Even then, both of those games had discussion drop-offs. Games don't last in the news cycle long here.
Elden Ring
Sure, and so are a handful of other games. My point was the news cycle doesn't last long for any game, and your argument is look at a game from 7 years ago. Again, thank you for proving my point.
What went right?
I'm about 70 hours away from 500 hours played.
also don't bother finding that message. I deleted it because it was getting 0 bites
Besides ER, bro. My point was it was impressive that the game maintained the most discussion for so long.
>SSBU
>Single Player game
What did he mean by this?
For Shazam? Nothing. We're on month 5 of ER discussion after 20m units sold and constant threads are just starting to curb in the last week
And they'll peak again when the DLC is announced
