>[Game] Is Worse Than You Think
I always hate that shit. You look up a thing you like, and boom. "[thing] - WORSE THAN YOU REMEMBER" Like, fuck off, bro. Just call it a review.
>Begins with a brief speech on the history of video games
>Reviewer says the most reasonable, cold take opinion ever
>NOW I KNOW THAT UPSET A FEW OF YOU
358/2 Days is all 3 of those at once.
>>[Game] Is Worse Than You Think
This one annoys me the most, shit's so irritating.
>all those videos shitting on DK64
>Dedicating an entire video to a consoles whole life cycle
>Cant just do a single in depth review for each game in more detail
I guess covering Zack & Wiki by itself is not worth the trouble when others have done it
>We as a society have moved on from liking games like [GAME]
>There's... this scene in... [Game] that's just so... powerfully beautiful in how it takes... the audience on such... an unbelievable emotional journey... and I just think it's really amazing. This is why you should play... [Game]
>10 entire minutes of the reviewer doing a nasal voice and pretending to be someone angrily replying to his video
Literally every single video he does has that tone to it
>You know you really feel the differences these characters are going through based on the trials and tribulations of their characterizations
Dude calm the fuck down its pokemon
>a "quick" retrospective
This immediately came to mind
[Game] DOES IT SUCK?!?
>200000 videos telling you why N&B is a good game but not a good banjo game
Its not even a good fucking game the mission design is the bulk of the single player and it sucks dick why do people keep saying this
The boss fights suck ass too AND the quiz at the end is literally worse in presentation than Tooie's quiz
I think you missed the point, "reviews" aren't trendy anymore so it needs to be labeled as "analyst" and "video essays"
I'm kind of glad that the trend is curving back around to people discussing what they love or enjoy about games. Listening to people shitting on any and every game for a decade+ is tired. I want to hear the happiness and joy in people's voices as they talk about why they love some stupid little shit in a game.
