Senior game design student about to graduate here. Just letting you know these games are generally considered to be a joke in the more elite gaming circles.

I am looking forward trying Shin Megami Tensai on DS even though I never played any of the Persona games
befunky is dogshit and locks basic features
>what is the middle one?
The Silver Case, an early Suda51 game
elitism is always based in any context
how do people always fall for this bait though

like what? you can make more than a 3x3 by doing .webm related
indie faggot
i'm impervious to your hate because i know you haven't played any of my picks
puzzleanon, what upcoming vidya are you anticipating? I've already recommended like 30 games over a ton of threads and can't think of anymore
no Opus Magnum over Shizen?
I just couldn't get into it
Sequels really are the best games. Honorable mention to DaS2:SOTFS.

the last zachtronics game is the big one in the near future. looks really fucking good to me.
there's also taiji, a witness-inspired game that looks very solid.
in the distant future, jon blow's sokoban game and miegakure, a sokoban game in 4 dimensions.
i'm intentionally staying in the dark on animal well, but it looks very promising from the little i have seen.
plenty of other stuff i'll play. silksong, cuphead DLC, storyteller, UFO 50
a lot of the games i like kinda come out of nowhere though.
i recommend opus magnum as the friendliest zachtronics game. it's not bad, but it's one of my least favorites.
TIS-100 and shenzhen are more daunting at first, especially if you're unfamiliar with programming, but if you can get into them, there's so much more depth and surprising interactions to discover and take advantage of. there's also less tedium when iterating on an idea because i can type code faster than i can shuffle all these fuckin arms and instructions around
cool, appreciate it. also check this out if you want a very obvious The Witness clone
i saw that and cringed. the art looks good but only because it's 90% ripped directly from the witness, and the puzzles look like shit i've seen a million times before.
you just reminded me though, this came out today:
store.steampowered.com
looking forward to hopefully getting a few laughs out of it at least.
yeah I thought it was funny too. as much as people praise indies for saving the industry and all that, they sure do rip off the more popular games a hell of a lot

woah how does one get membership to the elite gaming club?
>The Silver Case
ohhh... it's the title I would have not made the connection without the full cover
'sup puzzle bro. haven't been able to ask about Taiko yet sorry
+DE, Pathologic

some people like it as a chaotic coop builder and defend game. me I like it cause it is the closest to my dream game of "stranded on a lonely island and explore and survive". it has very nice atmosphere and can be quite scary at times. fun to explore and fuck around with the AI and decent plot twist. definately one of the best indie games I played so far
