Will Blizzard never make a good game again?

No.

No. It's a soulless corporate husk compared to the original studio. The passion is gone.

Nah.

No. Overwatch 2 last nail in the coffin. I'm 90% Micropenis purchased Blizzard so they could merchandise the hell out of the game like they did with Minecraft.

Nope.

No, but it doesn't matter, they make a fuckton of money, no matter how shitty their games are. 700k+ views in less than 24 hours and the comments are loving OW2 / Blizzard. I'm actually surprised when game companies do die cause it seems impossible if they are even slightly relevant.

only if microshit fires every SJW and likely under a different name anyway.

can't really think of any objectively bad game from blizzars. also diablo 4 looks really fun

The last hope I have for them is that unnamed survival game project that they've been working on for half a decade.
Got a buddy that's on the WoW team that said they've played a bit of it and claims it's a lot of fun and has a few unique gameplay elements that are "going to change the way people look at survival games".

No hope for anything in the future of Warcraft, or Overwatch, or Starcraft, or Diablo though.

What incentive do they have to ever create another game without p2w micro transactions? Pandora's box has been opened.

Does it matter?
Warcraft story line is irredeemably fucked, started with TBC and never stopped getting worse.
Overwatch gameplay is irredeemably fucked, and instead of improving it and adding some depth so people don't get bored in a month they added fucking pve.
Starcraft story line is irredeemably fucked and there's no playerbase.

Any chance of any half decent game has to be a new IP which will be fucked by their stupidity either by launch or midway.

Companies don't die quickly.
The bigger they are, the slower and more agonizing their death is.
Projects start slowing down.
Morale goes down the drain.
Things get bleaker and bleaker.

You gotta remember videogames provide insane amounts of dopamine and consumers are the crackheads

kill yourself

have been doing that before you were even born but it's slow progress

They have no incentive. WoW is an example of them getting away with P2W in the recent future-
In BFA (the previous Expac) they created a metasystem where bind on equip items from raids were ablwe to randomly get affixes on them. Some of those affixes (called corruptions) were INSANELY broken to a point where they would be 90+% of a good player's overall damage. You could buy ingame tokens with real money, to sell on the auctionhouse for large chunks of ingame gold, which you could then buy on the auctionhouse.
This mainly only drew in the higher end of players who made a mockery of it to the world, and had a small consumerbase, so blizzard devised a new way of delivering P2W systems to WoW players.
In shadowlands, Gold inflation was increased through various methods, while the average player's gold gain was destroyed by the rescaling of all old dungeon and raid loot, causing everything to be sold for far less to vendors.
Around the same time, Blizzard nuked their support staff on hand, and allowed bot waves to run rampant.
Every single player that was using gatherables to make their income was now making considerably less gold than they previously were in other expacs due to the market being twice as flooded as it usually was.
And with that, the stage was set for the second version of blizzard's WoW token P2W normalization plan.
They would release Craftable, Tradable legendary items that took hundreds of hours and hundreds of thousands of gold in investment in able to acquire the recipes for, that would even out to around the price of a WoW token or even more on the auctionhouse, depending on how small the server was.

Because having up-to-date legendary items was absolutely necessary just to get into groups for content that was above the easiest level, It effectively added a ~$15-25 pricetag to all raid and high-end dungeon content for every single player that had an IRL job.

This completely went over the heads of most content creators, even Asmon.

>This completely went over the heads of most content creators, even Asmon.
It didn't go over their head, they just don't care because they only badmouth blizzard when it's the cool thing to do that will get them more clicks because there are countless dipshit websites full of endless [FAMOUS BLIZZARD SIMP SPEAKS OUT AGAINST BLIZZARD] articles.
Asmon even specifically brought up how P2W WoW was during BFA and Shadowlands when people would bring up how P2W Lost Ark was and said that all the top end raiders are spending hundreds/thousands on tokens to get the gold to get the gear/consumables.

All of their games released so far have objectively good moment to moment gameplay.
What sucks are the systems behind the gameplay that are designed to keep you playing, WoW is riddled with timegates and weekly checklists that just exist to waste your time.
Their premium games are all probably going to have good gameplay and will be enjoyable for a month or 2, before the timegating and repetition kicks in. The main source of their income are probably going to be microtransactions from their games or from the games that are made with their IPs.
Will Blizzard make good games in the future? Sure.
Will Blizzard games define the gaming industry like they did back in the day? No.

Diablo 4 is last thing, if they fail on that, it's over.

No. The company is Blizzard in name only. All the people who could make good games are gone.

Those are bots, have you seen how weak Blizzard is in the quarterly reports? Are you fucking 13 years old?

You write like a schizo.
