Dragon's Dogma Problems

Yeah everyone is happy and talking about the good things of the game but CAN WE TALK ABOUIT WHAT NEED TO BE FIXED FOR THE SEQUEL??

>healing magic is a tiny AoE that cant move until casted again

Why?

>using healing magic
Greenwarish is so cheap and plentiful that you never need healing spells.

You can buy so much green stuff it's ridiculous user. That said, I would like them to let us heal outside the menu with the green stuff.

The lack of co-op

Pawns are nice but what I really wanna do is roam the lands with my bros and hos

If it's not jank, it's not DD.

No, fuck that. The game is perfect for someone who doesn't have any friends like me.

Defense calculations are insufferable in this game until you reach about level 30 or so. The early game grind is kino so I wouldn't want it to be changed.

The healing definitely needs to change. Getting into the menu to heal is an awful design. Either just use healing spells or adopt some system similar to the estus potions.

Others things:
I don't carry for the game having a weight limit, that shit's awful.
The pawn behavior system needs to either be good or be removed. It's awful
Allow co-op with another player to replace pawns
Have more control of your build. The game picked what stats you gained by the class you were using when you leveled up, but this could mess up your character.

Did you never hotkey healing items? Did you never hotkey anything? Let me guess, you used the menu to light your lantern as well.

I'm sorry user but you have just made a NEGATIVE post about dragons ligma. The mods will now delete this post.

I hope pawns do reasonable damage in the end game, I liked playing as the support mage class but in the mid-late game I ended up going Sorc because my pawn just didn't do any damage anymore. Or maybe the pawn just doesn't know how to play the 2h sword class eh.

Nobody did before dinput8 mod.

>Can't allocate stats to your choosing
>Vocations determine stat growth permanently
>Pawns have to have specific traits and used a specific way otherwise they are permanently retarded
>No co-op outside of pimping your pawn
>Bitterblack Isle is the only 10/10 dungeon in the game, Everfall is a step up in basegame but flawed
>Too many rehashed enemies in base game
>The hydra head escort

PC version supported hotkeys from the start.

Maybe just maybe, you could have the both!? WOOOOOW

...Are you sure.. I don't have it installed to check. If so, holy shit I didn't even know and i've got 200 hours just on pc.

holy fuck, what awful opinions.

4 player co op would be nice, lose a pawn slot in exchange for a player obviously to balance it out. make changing your pawns personality easier because i remember it being a ballache with you having to get them a ton of items to change some sliders. other than that idk. mounts would be 'eh' because walking to where you need to go is a core part of the game as are waystones and they'd probably have to build the map with mounts in mind

once i found out how the stat system worked my autism literally wouldn't let me enjoy the game anymore
what were they thinking with that shit

I'd say at least 3 of them would be good.

Fuck my life into pieces.

It literally doesn't matter the game is long over way before you hit the level cap and gear matters way more than base stats.

No, go play seamless Elden Ring if that's what you want, if they include co-op they'll need to balance the game around the mechanic and it will take development time away from the single player experience.

I want the warrior glass to not be gimped

Custom pawns just shouldn't be a thing in DD2. Your character should just be automatically uploaded to the servers for anyone to rent out. When your steam friend bros are offline, you can still take their characters just with an AI driver at the wheel.

you are a sad little man

>including coop means you have to be shit souls
fuck off user.

I don't know what game you played but I had to do NG++ to hit lvl200

you are a worthless retard

When I played on PC years later, but menu heals being available is still a trash system. Tactical healing is always a better mechanic.

That's what he said user.. What did you read?

You were fooled by Any Forums the game is shit and I will explain why:

>No indication of where roads lead
>No hint to what enemies are weak to
>No hint of when enemies are alone or in groups
>No warning to avoid status effects
>No clue to which items are masterworks

I don't know how people defend this game.

I know this is going to be sacrilege but while I enjoyed the gameplay, I found the world incredibly bland. Even the twist was bland. I find it very doubtful that a sequel would change that though.

They already balance it with a 4-man party.

They're idiots who jump over chests. Don't worry about them baitnon.

>noooo, don't include co-op in this 3 player adventure game
nigga please

Yes Arisen, I'm aware of their stupidity but I feel obligated to post this in every Dragons Dogma Thread I see.
No Newfag shall remain unbaited.

>I'd say at least 3 of them would be good.
Absolutely not
>Carry weight was an important mechanic that meant you had to actually plan for your adventure and couldn't just horde stacks of healing items, it was also an important counter-balance to lighter characters having faster stamina recovery
>The pawn behavior system was fine, if you weren't retarded they would learn how to effectively use a class relatively quickly and you could freely change pawn inclination post-game or use the pawn coaching chair more often, also stop spamming "HELP"
>No, there's already a shitload of co-op minded games and the pawn system actually ties into the storyline
>in the end it didn't matter, gear was more important, it wouldn't make sense for your character that played 100 levels as a warrior to be able to switch to mage and have the same magic stat as someone that leveled to 100 with sorc
