because a lot of people made fun of how over the top sexy XB2 designs were to the point it's drowned out a lot of other discussions. I'm guessing it's still there to some extent maybe alt outfits or equipment shows on the character again so you can walk around with no shirt. But they're not doing the fucking G cups in skin tight body suit thing complete with a pan up POV shot from the shota protags as he gets a face full of booba within the first few hours.

Indeed if anything the new game isn't going to be as popular. I mean it has been like what 4-5 years since XB2 and Pyra and Mythra still get fan art and their figures have been restocked several times. The waifu factor was one of the things that impulses the franchise forward.
