wolves hunt in packs and are weak to fire

You can kick the mule. Let yourself get run over by the cart to make the mage pawn heal you (and the mule). Other than that, no. Game peaks just after you reach Gran Soren, if you don't like it by then feel free to drop it and consider yourself a tasteless nigger.

Oh, yeah, don't fret about stats and shit. Switch jobs, see what you like, pick up some perks, have fun.

we all might die soon, whether today, tomorrow, or in some indeterminate day for little-to-no-reason, so you should probably try to enjoy whatever you do while you can

They're masterworks 'all

All roads lead to Grand Soren

The Duke aught to commission some new roads

>Game peaks just after you reach Gran Soren

Enjoy your time exploring the land
Try out all vocations and see what you like for yourself
If an area or a quest gives you trouble try something else first
The game autosaves but not as often as something like Dark Souls so make manual saves from time to time, especially if you plan on rushing into danger

That's incorrect.

In the early game if you encounter enemies that are too strong for you, running/avoiding them is a valid option. For some reason, a lot of people get filtered early on because they come from Bethesda games were everything scales to you or something. Also, a lot of sidequests (NPC sidequests, not notice board) are time sensitive and will autofail if you advance in the story without completing them, so prioritize your sidequests over the main story when you have them. Notice board quests you can and should accept all of them when you see them with the exception of escort quests. Escort quests trigger the moment you accept it, so you should wait to accept those until you're prepared to potentially travel to the dangerous unknown.

You were fooled by Any Forums the game is shit and I will explain why:

>No indication of where roads lead
>No hint to what enemies are weak to
>No hint of when enemies are alone or in groups
>No warning to avoid status effects
>No clue to which items are masterworks

I don't know how people defend this game.

There's strength in numbers

What a large tree.

Is this automatically posted in every thread mentioning DD?

BBI is good if you are overleveled. If you are at all underleveled (which is easy since you can go there whenever) it absolutely sucks cock

Make sure you finish the sidequest to find Quina before you go the the Everfall for the first time. It's missable and you're locked out of lots of extra stuff if you miss it.

Strength in numbers, Arisen.

Haven't played the game but this honestly makes me want to try it.

Use throw-able objects in the environment like rocks or wooden crates to break armour with.
