How would you make a good space game? Or if there's already one that you think is perfect which one is it?

What are dress physics like on the moon?

Space games have one of the most disappointing histories in the genre. I don't think the technology is there yet. also most space gameplay sucks

reminder that on the moon you could fly with just your arm power + wings
you can also run on water
you need to be in a pressurized area for this obviously

Ya I'd drop the faggy pretense of
>Science
And make it a fantasy game in space. So instead of accurate celestial bodies I'd make it goofy, like 3 sun's for 1 planet. Flat earth's, square earth's. You'd travel on old boats. There would be gods and magic beasts the size of planets.

Because every game that takes place in space is "science" fiction, so I would make a fantasy game in space to Dab on cringe Niel Degrassi Tyson simps

You're a fag
You're based
Fuck you reply to this post.

Wait a minute, that hose...

I don't know, I've never been to the moon.
There are some fun games where you can basically become anything, from trader to mercenary or pirate / military pilot. I think the problem I have with them is that most of them are spaceship only games, you never see space stations / planets.

you actually need to limit the scope of the game
focusing more on physics (game mechanics about how you move, doing shit in space) with a tight narrative
space already have enough horror shit that you could focus on

the issue with most space games is that they always over promise thousands of planet, seamless exploration or some shit, while the technology haven't caught up you ended with shallow boring repetitive shit

Space games have one inherent problem: scale
If you can walk on the surface, people expect to be able to walk ANYWHERE on the surface
If you can leave the planet, people expect to be able to fly in space yourself
If you can fly through space, people expect to be able to land anywhere.
And suddenly you have people expecting to be able to go through billions of cubic niggermiles of space and it ALL has to be filled with flashing lights and enemies and things to discover or people will LOSE THEIR SHIT

I want to rape a lunarian so much its unreal

I cri every time.
Let's be honest, she'd have murdered and cannibalized him the moment she learned he had a girl back on Earth.

They're too ambitious, it needs to be limited to one unique system.

>op picrel
That looks like a good starting point. Bunny girls on the moon.
This nigger gets it. Science is fake AND gay.

Probably going to look really stiff and not flutter because there's no wind

The same reason there is flag physics on the moon

There is already one perfect space warfare game though

Maybe not makie a game that is identical to every other scifi "hard" setting
Like for fucks sake people are comparing it to spore

By ignoring conventional utilitarian homogenous nasa design and looking into different cultures, design language, architecture and mythos around the world and throughout history, then dump different shit to different concept artists and have each one work in isolation from the other on a different single alien culture.

For gameplay just ripoff starsector but actually hire that man and make it into a 3d unreal engine affear. Advertisement will be supporting progressive politics but then leaking that the company is ran by far right extremists and farming outrage from both sides.

I don't get it.

One rabbit was in love with space man, but the others were hungry.

For the best, it never could have worked out between them, and she'd eventually felt more hunger than love.
Artist? Anything else by them? It's really good.

>starfield looks like it's gonna suck

Starfield has variable gravity mechanics so it would be cool if they did stuff like this, Bethesda already have water walking code

Is there no non-twitter alternative? Fuck the UI is cancer.
