it's incremental, games only get much more advanced the further up you go. Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey are being done up but they're far from being finished, and they're mostly comparable with PS2 games even.
it's too bad we didn't say; get the source code for Starcraft 1 back in the day.. just saying.

Mario Odyssey is already perfectly emulatable so there'll never be a need for a PC port.
