I would kill for a new Punch Out by the same Wii team

Still the GOAT

Boxing isn't very popular these days. It's all about mixed martial arts now.

We peaked at Fight Night Round 2 and will never be able to top it without adding gimmick bullshit.

I was thinking more of a licensed boxing game with real people. Or they could be fictional, as long as it follows the rules and art of boxing and is 1v1.

MMA is boring to me. It's just a bunch of underpaid bums being OK at many different things but not being impressive at anything in particular. I'd rather watch an actual BJJ match instead of a BJJ UFC fighter box poorly for 5 minutes before he wins via submission

I don't really give a shit about sports or sports games, but those recent (ish) ufc games seemed pretty cool. I never played them but they were fun to watch my dudebro roommates play them, maybe just make those games but with boxing

>mma

Ufc would be better if they banned groundwork

esbc never

Desu I feel like Tekken has the groundwork for a decent boxing game. Maybe if they make a spinoff based off Steve.
McGoober was the closest MMA ever got to mainstream popularity and then he cashed out in a boxing match. That being said UFC has more competitive matches overall but groundwork is gayer than even the worst clinchfest in pillowtap.

>Tekken
But I would prefer a boxing game that doesn't have combo juggling, low punches, or anything that doesn't belong in a real boxing match. I would absolutely take a Steve game if that was all I got though

>ronda rousey
probably the greatest can crusher of our time. getting her out of the UFC really helped WMMA. now if only we could keep getting more of the top fighters actually fighting each other that would be great.

lows kinda jank but eh, it exists (or supposedly will exist """SOON""")

Dana forcing fighters to fight is the only part of UFC I like. Other than that I hate MMA

What, this isn't exciting enough for you?

What martial art teaches this?

fourth post best post
just emulate Fight Night

Why not watch bare fist fights at this point?
Slavs have a really great variety of cool tournaments.

For me it's K1, if anyone remembers.

Honestly a great boxing came could have all kinds of scenarios to play in

Wow, truly the ultimate bloodsport. Having fewer rules than other combat sports really highlights the art of fighting

Well generally I meant the 3d fighting and footsies. Yeah the juggling and low punches would be bad. Basically just Tekken with only high/mid punches, parries and feints would already make up like 80% of a good boxing game.

aren't punches to the back of the head illegal?

Embarrassing. It's like she was taught to punch by someone with palsey

MMA is not very popular. UFC only has mcgregor discriminating muslims and muslims injecting money into people giving shit about dagestani peasants

Joe Rogan unironically said she could beat Mayweather

Women can't punch.

Joe Rogan says a lot of things lol

I mean in a real fight floyd would get destroyed from leg kicks

for me, it's the MONSTER
