There was a leak some time ago that 9 would be about rose and take place in some abandoned town back in america and it would be open world or hub like like Village was. There was also some weird stuff mentioned like how Ethan was a clone of Wesker.
But in the expansion on Village with Rose now its curious how they'll go from here if she wants to 'get rid of her powers' but who knows if she'll actually be able to. I mean Ethan was mold himself so it might be pretty farfetched if she's able to 'remove her powers by going into an animus'.
