i'm going to be honest, I don't HATE EGS, it's just mildly inconvenient for me, so I don't use it. Steam has better sales, and i'm too lazy to go key hunting on places like gmg so don't mention those.

It's 100% laziness. I don't bare Epic any ill will, except mild annoyance at the exclusivity purchases. And that mild annoyance is usually enough to make me wait till the game comes to steam - plus the fact that a lot of shit like ff7r is still full price because >square

The only good thing about EGS, other than the free games, is that it's easy to abuse foreign currencies to get dirt cheap games during their sales.

In general, going through the steam growth phase was horrendous but there was nothing else to even compare it to.
Now that it's a stable service I won't even take a look at the other unless they match up all the way through.
