Both of these are bullshit. Chun-li and Ryu meet whenever a tournament is going on and both sides have massive respect for the other. It's never going to be a romantic relationship, considering Ryu is a wandering hobo and Chun-li is busy with police work but they're still very familiar with each other.

There's no interaction in SFII, they don't meet in SFIV's tournament we know that Ryu only meets Ken, Sagat, Sakura and Gouken. Stop putting so much faith in winquotes that can easily be changed like they did in SFV.
