Basically he joined with the other shichibukai think about it for a minute Mihawk the only person he couldn't cut, he's also a friend and rival of sharks, possibly he's the only one who finds him funny, Hancock thinks he was Luffy's savior and yes it would not have been for him they would not have been able to save him or he thinks that he saved him in imperial down, Weevil possibly the easiest to convince

Wtf can Koby do against Luffy? In two years he's barely learned a handful of the 6 techniques and non-future sight observation haki, meanwhile Luffy already has advanced observation, armament and conquerors haki on top of a top-tier, awakened mythical Zoan DF. Koby isn't even CP9 level, i.e. way below even pre-TS Luffy.
