For my money, the best Visual Novel, without question is Steins;Gate. It’s an absolute masterpiece that will blow you away.
However it’s a slow burn and about 40ish hours long, so it’s not really a “fun to play drunk” kinda game. Maybe play Hatoful Boyfriend or something similarly wacky.
